Seeking Part Time Preschool-Kindergarten Teacher - Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling (UUCS) is seeking a part time preschool-kindergarten teacher for our vibrant, liberal religious community.

Duties: Prepare for and teach a 45-minute class three to four Sunday mornings per month to children in preschool and kindergarten. The content of the lessons is based on a pre-selected curriculum.

Schedule: Sundays from 10:15am to 11:45am beginning September 15. Additional hours are occasionally available on weekends and weeknights.

Qualifications: Our ideal candidate has experience as a preschool or elementary school teacher and familiarity with Unitaran Universalist religious education. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to relate to young children and others using good interpersonal skills are required. First Aid and CPR certification are preferred.
