Sterling's Hooked Top Winner at Taste of Reston

Hooked Seafood and Sushi Bar was awarded the top prize for its crab cakes at the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce's Taste of Reston last weekend.

This was the first year Hooked, located in the Potomac Run Plaza in Sterling, entered the Taste of Reston.

Hooked general manager Mark Moody, a Reston resident, says he was thrilled with the honor.

“I have lived in Reston for 18 years, and can’t remember a summer without the Taste of Reston," said Moody. "To be a part of the event and actually win is an amazing and humbling feeling. We are a proprietary run restaurant that relies on our regular customers and large events, so winning the biggest food festival in Northern Virginia is very exciting for us.”

Second place went to Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro and third went to Paolo's of Reston.
