All Suspects in Botched Home Invasion Now Charged

Man injured by gunshots in incident has recovered and faces day in court.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office today released the name of the final suspect in a Feb. 10 home invasion that turned deadly in Sterling.

Deputies on Thursday served warrants on Scott Alexander Walker, 32, who, according to the Sheriff’s Office, was one of three men who entered a home at 1205 E. Kennedy Road with the intention of committing a robbery. During the incident, a resident shot two of the suspects, one of whom died.

A second suspect turned up at a local hospital, while the third man fled. In the process of the investigation, authorities charged two women with assisting the suspects after the fact. The third invasion suspect was taken into custody weeks after the robbery without incident after someone reported seeing him riding his bike in Sterling.
