Ashburn Under Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 9 Tonight

Storms could bring gusts, downpours.

Ashburn and the surrounding areas are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m. tonight.

National Weather Service says severe storms could cause damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Storms could make for a hazardous rush-hour commute this afternoon.

yup, did not do much good for us, but those guys at Ashburn Patch try hard and are 98% spot on nearly all the tme!
