Early Bike to Work Registrants Receive T-shirts

The annual event focused on improving health and the environment is set for May 17.

There’s still time to register early for one of 12,000 free Bike to Work Day T-shirts. Recipients can obtain their shirts on Bike to Work Day 2013, set for May 17, at the Pit Stop of their choice.

Each pit stop will also offer chances to win prizes, including new bicycles.

Loudoun County will prepare two Pit Stops – one in Leesburg and one in Sterling – where participants will find refreshments and prizes.  Last year, more than 450 bicycle commuters paid visits to the Loudoun County pit stops; regionwide, more than 12,000 people participated in the event.
