Metro will operate under the following holiday schedule:
Tuesday (Christmas Day)
- Metrorail and Metrobus operate on a Sunday schedule.
- Metrorail system open 7 a.m. until midnight.
- MetroAccess subscription trips cancelled.
Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve)
- Regular weekday service.
- Metrorail system will stay open two hours later than normal, until 2 a.m., to accommodate holiday revelers. The last train times vary by station; just add two hours to weekday last train times.
Jan. 1 (New Year's Day)
- Metrorail and Metrobus operate on a Sunday schedule.
- Metrorail system open 7 a.m. until midnight.
- MetroAccess subscription trips cancelled.
