  • Friday, April 8, at 7:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.: Monuments by Moonlight River Cruises will depart the Washington Marina and cruise the Potomac River, where you will see the monuments and landmarks of Washington, DC, cast in a new light--moonlight. Tickets: www.dc-cruises.com
  • Saturday, April 9, 10 a.m. to noon: The highly anticipated National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade runs along Constitution Avenue. Floats, balloons, marching bands and performers put on a show that only comes around once a year. For grandstand seating tickets: www.ticketmaster.com. Standing room is free along parade route.
