The weekend is upon us in Northern Virginia and it's time to start making plans for some fun. Patch has compiled a list of events that the whole family can enjoy. Have a great weekend!

Brambleton Community Association Yard Sale and Marketplace

More than 25 participants will take part in the Brambleton Community Association Marketplace at the BRambleton Community Center, and 100 homes will participate in the yard sale.  The yard sale takes place Saturday at 8 a.m. For more information contact events@brambleton.org.

Blood Drive at Morven Park

Save a life and donate blood at the Winmill Carriage Museum on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. All presenting donors will receive a ticket for a complimentary tour of the Davis Mansion and Winmill Carriage Museum at Morven Park. All eligible donors can make their life saving appointment by calling 1-800-Red Cross.

Ashburn Village FIESTA 5K/10K/Fun Run

Lace up your running shoes and get ready to participate in this fun race in Ashburn Village on Sunday morning. This race benefits the Ashburn Volunteer Fire Department. For more information email kparks@ashburnvillage.org.

Eastern Loudoun Upcycle Exchange

ELUX is a group page created for Eastern Loudoun County so that residents can post/buy/sell their household items locally in order to reuse & recycle. This way, shipping costs are usually not involved. This will take place at the Ashburn Post Office.

BBQ At The Barn

Willowcroft Farm Vineyards in Leesburg will host BBQ at the Barn on Saturday and Sunday. Pair your favorite wine with Misty’s BBQ company entrees.
