Two Loudoun Mayors, Former Trans. Sec. Back Herring

The candidate for Virginia Attorney General wins praise for working across the aisle.

Leesburg Mayor Kristen Umstattd, Purcellville Mayor Bob Lazaro and former Virginia Secretary of Transportation Pierce Homer gathered earlier this week near construction of the Sycolin Flyover project in Leesburg to praise Virginia Attorney General candidate Mark Herring.

The trio said Herring, a Democrat, understands how to work across party lines, demonstrated by this year’s bipartisan transportation bill that Republican Mark Obenshain opposed. Herring and Obenshain, both state senators, face each other in the Nov. 5 election.

Watch the video to see why Umstattd, Lazaro and Homer they support Herring.
