Voter Registration Day Set; Absentee Voting Underway in Loudoun

Statewide and General Assembly races are in full swing, so make sure you're prepared to vote.

With just a few weeks remaining until Election Day, Loudoun County voter registration authorities will join their colleagues across Northern Virginia for a Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Voter registration opportunities will be available at several county libraries from noon to 7 p.m..

In addition, absentee voting has begun in Loudoun County.

The following library branches will participate in Voter Registration Day Oct. 1:
  • Ashburn: 43316 Hay Road, Ashburn
  • Cascades: 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls
  • Gum Spring: 24600 Millstream Drive, Stone Ridge
  • Purcellville: 220 East Main Street, Purcellville
  • Rust: 380 Old Waterford Road, N.W., Leesburg
Voters must be registered by Oct. 15 to vote in the Nov. 5 election.

Those needing to vote early through absentee ballot, can now go to the Voter Registration Office, 750 Miller Drive, SE, Suite C, in Leesburg through Nov. 2. I late October and early November, absentee voting will be offered at the Cascades Senior Center and the Dulles South Multipurpose Center.
