Cherry Blossom Day Trip

Celebrate one of Washington DC’s most popular springtime traditions: The blooming of thousands of cherry trees along the tidal basin! Avoid the hassle of fighting traffic and trying to find parking by taking our afternoon excursions, which offer three convenient pickup stops in Northern Virginia.

You’ll have enough time explore and to enjoy the floral display along tidal basin as well as the nearby monuments — pack a camera and a picnic lunch, or purchase an optional boxed lunch from Atlanta Bread Co. (sandwich and salad selections shown below). Remember to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes!

Depart: 10:00 12001 Market Street, Reston Town Center
Depart: 10:30 am Vienna Metro Station, North Side – Virginia Center Blvd @ Nutley St (Kiss & Ride bus stop)

Arrive: 11:00 am Thomas Jefferson Memorial
Depart: 2:15 pm Thomas Jefferson Memorial
