Willowsford Farm: Tomato Sauce Taste Test
Bottling a Taste of Summer
Willowsford Farm will be producing our own tomato sauce and we need your help choosing the recipe!
Stop by the Farm Stand this Saturday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, to taste three delicious tomato sauces cooked up by our Culinary Director and Chef Extraordinaire, Bonnie Moore, and vote for your favorite. The winning recipe will be used for the inaugural bottling and on sale come September.
The taste test is free and the Farm Stand is located inside a large garden filled with fragrant herbs, vegetables, berry bushes, blooming flowers and dozens of butterflies that make this location a wonderful, local destination.
For sale at the Farm Stand this (and every) Saturday: Fresh farm produce (squash, zukes, cukes, leeks, peppers, herbs, potatoes, peaches, garlic, eggplant and more); Local, pastured and hormone-free meats from Mount Vernon Grassfed, Whiffletree Farm and New Asbury Farm; Trickling Springs milk, butter & ice cream; MTO Kombucha; Cherry Glen Goat Cheeses and Oak Spring Dairy cheeses; Spring Mill Bread; Flower bouquets from Greenstone Fields; and baked goods from Kate Jansen at Willow Restaurant.
