Don’t Miss Halloween ComicFest at Laughing Ogre Comics in Leesburg
The shop is one of many across the country participating in the annual event.
Calling all heroes, villains, princesses, robots or whatever other Halloween costume you’ve dreamed up: Laughing Ogre Comics at Lansdowne Town Center in Leesburg is participating in Halloween ComicFest this weekend, Oct. 26-27.
During the event, participating stores will give away as many as 22 Halloween-themed full-size and mini comics featuring Batman, Thor, Spider-Man, My Little Pony, Adventure Time and other popular and new titles.
Stores will also participate in promoting “The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever.” Customers can submit their costume photos to the Halloween ComicFest website for a chance to win prizes. Two randomly chosen winners will receive $500 gift certificates to the comic shop of their choice. Other prizes include graphic novels, collectible statues, pop-culture related items and more.
