Ashby Ponds Supports Operation Homefront

In support of Operation Homefront, 15 employees from Ashby Ponds retirement community in Ashburn, Va. volunteered on July 22 to sort back-to-school items for families of service members on active duty.   The group was able to assemble 292 backpacks and provide handwritten notes for each backpack!  Ashby Ponds, a not-for-profit organization, regularly participates in volunteer projects as part of the community’s corporate social responsibility plan.
