Meet Sweet Sunday

Sunday is a sweet and playful 18-month-old American Bulldog who loves people and is looking for a loving family to call her own. She has a beautiful snow-white coat and sweet, soulful eyes.

Hello. My name is Sunday. I’m a sweet and playful 18-month-old American Bulldog who weighs about 40 pounds. I was turned into the shelter by my former owner who bred me, but could no longer take care of us after I had my puppies. Mutts Matter stepped in and rescued us all from that life. My puppies have all found new families, so now I hope it’s my turn.

I’m a very loving and social dog; I love to be around people, I’m great with kids, and good with most dogs. I’m hearing impaired, but that doesn’t faze me a bit. I already know some hand commands like “sit” and “shake”, and I’m food-motivated and learn quickly. I’m already potty-trained and crate-trained, and I love to go on long walks or take a car ride with my foster family.

I still have some puppy energy and need my exercise, but I also know how to relax. I like to lie out in the sun on the patio, or hang out by the window and check out the local scene. I long to find a family and home of my own. Just look at my sweet, soulful face: I will be your most loyal companion.

Mutts Matter thinks I would do well with an active family with or without kids. I would make a great running partner and would love a fenced back yard to run and play in!
