Obit: Mary “Peg” Margaret Tegler, 70

Mary “Peg” Margaret Tegler, 70, loving mother of two sons and four grandkids, of Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Inova Alexandria Hospital.

Peg was born March 12, 1942, in Troy, NY, to the late William Dillion and the late Grace Post Dillion. Peg graduated from Catholic Central High School in Troy. She lived in several states across the country including New York, Texas, Hawaii and Virginia.

She served her country for more than 30 years working for the federal government, with most of her time at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

She is survived by her two sons: Paul Tegler and wife Allison of Leesburg, VA, and Christopher Tegler and wife Traci of Stafford, VA; four grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, Sydney and Kirstin Tegler; and brothers John and Bill Dillon, both of New York.

Funeral services and interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
