Left hand turn yields to oncoming traffic - always!!
Ashburn drivers need to be aware that a left hand unprotected turn (meaning no traffic turn light) ALWAYS yields to those going straight. This is not only law (State Statute 46.2-825, but also a safety issue!) The Waxpool & Ashburn Village intersection by Gold's is the worst. I travel this route everyday and see many near-miss crashes...what does it take to get a light put there??
