Three Arrested in $100K Watch Theft

Suspects broke a display case at Dulles Town Center and grabbed the items at Fink's Jewelry.

Deputies with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office arrested three male suspects near Leesburg following a theft from a jewelry store at the Dulles Town Center Friday, Sept. 7.

According to an LCSO report, two men entered Fink’s Jewelry store in the mall around 3:30 p.m. One of the suspects used a small blunt object to break a glass jewelry case, while a second suspect grabbed a number of watches valued at more than $100,000. The suspects then fled.

Deputies responded to the scene and an alert was issued for the suspects. A Loudoun deputy spotted the suspect vehicle heading westbound along Route 7 near Battlefield Parkway, initiated a stop and took three suspects into custody.

Deputies charged Deandre T. Magee, 22, of Hagerstown, MD, with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.

The other two male suspects, ages 16 and 17, from Michigan, were charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and destruction of property. The names of the teenagers cannot be released because of their ages.
