Airport Shuttle Driver Faces Charges after Leaving DC Man in Sterling

The Maryland driver reportedly pulled a knife on the passenger, demanded money.

A Washington, DC, man was picked up in the city by an airport shuttle driver, driven to Sterling and robbed a knifepoint, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

During the incident – which occurred just before 6 a.m. Tuesday near Sinegar Place in Sterling ­– the driver demanded money, according to the report. Deputies searched the area and located the suspect.

Jesus A. Josephson, 52, of Hyattsville, MD, faces robbery charges and remains in custody at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
