Aldie 'Murder-Suicide' Involved Husband and Wife; Mother-in-Law Seriously Injured

Investigators will continue to examine evidence in the case; juveniles at the home are with relatives.

An Aldie shooting that left two people dead and a third seriously injured involved a married couple, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

While the LCSO did not identify the victims, more details about the case were released this week.

Deputies responded to a townhouse on the 41700 block of Eloquence Terrance in Aldie after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon entering the home, offices found a 43-year-old man and his wife, 36, dead from gunshot wounds.

As the husband and wife argued around 10:30 p.m. Jan. 7, the husband fired several shots at his wife, according to an LCSO report. Several shots hit the woman and one shot hit her 58-year-old mother, according to the report.

The wife died at the scene and the husband took his own life, according to the report. Their names were not released.

The mother-in-law remains hospitalized in stable condition with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Two juveniles in the home are with relatives now.
