Ashburn Crime: Man Seen Taking Photos of Students Exiting Bus
Other incidents include thefts, auto tampering, assault.
Suspicious Event
A resident observed an unknown subject stop near a school bus and take photographs of the students getting off the bus on Belmont Ridge Road between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Sept. 30. The subject was described as male between 20 and 30 years old, with light brown skin and a slim build.
Robbery
A female victim was assaulted by a known female suspect on the 45100 block of Old Ox Road at 11:36 p.m. Sept 28. The victim’s wallet was taken. Karla M. Espinoza-Kuk, 31, of Herndon, was charged with robbery. The incident is domestic in nature. Espinoza-Kuk was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Auto Theft
A black 2009 Kawasaki Ninja was reported taken from the 20050 block of Silver Creek Terrace between 7:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Sept. 26.

Vehicle Tampering
An unknown person, or persons, damaged a driver’s side window of a vehicle on the 44900 block of Knoll Square between noon and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27.
Burglary
Unknown subject(s) damaged a rear door to gain entry to a home on the 43200 block of Katie Leigh Court between 7:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sept. 27. Cash was taken.
