Ashburn Crime Report: Stolen Guns, Prowlers, Credit Card Theft

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office also charged two with DUIs after sobriety checkpoint in Lansdowne.

Firearms Reported Stolen in Potomac Station
An unknown person, possibly more than one, entered a residence through a rear door on the 43000 block of Sherbrooke Terrace between 6 p.m. Oct. 21 and 2 p.m. Oct. 22. Electronics, four firearms, clothing and jewelry were reported missing.

Suspicious Person, Credit Card Theft at Farmwell Hunt
Charges are pending against three people possibly involved in a credit card theft at an Ashburn restaurant. Deputies responded to the restaurant, located on 43900 block of Farmwell Hunt Plaza, between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20 for a report of a subject taking a credit card from another patron. Deputies canvassed the area and located three suspects at a different restaurant. One of the suspects ran out the back door of that restaurant, but deputies located him a short time later. Charges are pending against a 15-year-old female from Alexandria, an 18-year-old female from Sterling and a 17-year-old from Alexandria that deputies took into custody.

Attempted Burglary Near Stone Bridge High School
A door was damaged in an apparent attempt to gain entry to a residence on the 42900 block of Gotham Way between 11:42 a.m. Oct. 15 and 11:42 a.m. Oct. 20. No entry was made.

Prowler Reported in Ashburn Village
A resident reported seeing an unknown subject looking into a sliding glass door of their home on the 44200 block of Navajo Drive around 11 p.m. Oct. 21. The subject was described as a male of Middle Eastern descent with a mustache. He was further described as being 6-feet tall with a thin build.  

Sobriety Checkpoint/Roving Patrol
Deputies charged two people with DUIs during a sobriety checkpoint held in Lansdowne Oct. 21-22. Officers checked 374 vehicles and pulled 10 drivers for additional screening. One driver was charged with a DUI at the checkpoint, while a roving patrol in the area of the checkpoint charged the other.
