Ashburn Crime Report: Jan. 4-10

The following incidents, including a firearm taken from an unlocked car, were reported by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Destruction of Property
Juvenile petitions are pending for a 13-year-old suspect who Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies located after reports of someone wearing a Halloween mask near a day car on the 43000 block of Crandall Square just befor 5 p.m. Jan. 7. Deputies also determined the teenager had spray-painted graffiti in the area.

Burglary

  • Money was reported taken from a cash register at the Fins and Feathers in Broadlands between 7 p.m. Jan. 6 and 7:20 a.m. Jan. 7. There were no signs of forced entry, according a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
  • An iPod, cash and other items were reported taken from a home on the 20600 block of Ryder Mills Court in Ashburn Village between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Jan. 8. There were no signs of forced entry, according to an LCSO report.

  • Cash was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 19900 block of Alexandra’s Grove Drive, in Alexandra’s Grove at Belmont, around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 4.
  • A camera was reported taken from vehicle on the 43300 block of Sandi Louise Court, in Alexandra’s Grove at Belmont, around midnight Jan. 5.
  • Change was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21200 block of Rosetta Place in Ashburn Village between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 6 and 7 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • Change was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21900 block of Windy Oaks Square in Broadlands between 6 p.m. Jan. 6 and 7:55 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • A jacket was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21300 block of Maidsville Court in Ashburn Village between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • A wallet was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21300 block of Cameron Hunt Place in Ashburn Village between 2 p.m. Jan. 6 and 6:15 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • An iPod was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21200 block of Rosetta Place in Ashburn Village between noon Jan. 6 and 7:50 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • A firearm and other items were reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 21300 block of Cameron Hunt Place in Ashburn Village between 8 p.m. Jan. 6 and 8:10 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • Three packages delivered to the 44200 block of Meandering Terrace in Ashbrook between 2 p.m. Dec. 31 and 9:59 p.m. Jan. 5.
  • Change was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 44000 block of Chadds Ford Court in Ashburn Village between 6:45 p.m. Jan. 6 and 5:30 a.m. Jan. 7.
  • A tool was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21800 block of Westdale Court in Broadlands between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 4 and 10:24 p.m. Jan. 7.
  • Cash was reported taken from a vehicle on the 20800 block of Shy Beaver Court in Ashburn Village between 6 p.m. Jan. 7 and 6 a.m. Jan. 8.
  • An iPod was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21800 block of Wingfoot Court between 10 p.m. Jan. 7 and 5 a.m. Jan. 8.
  • Sunglasses and other items were reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 43100 block of Crosswind Terrace in Broadlands around midnight Jan. 7.
  • Building materials were reported taken from a construction site on the 41800 block of Marigold Mill Place between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 4 and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 7.
  • A digital camera and computer were reported taken from a home on the 21800 block of Blossom Hill Terrace around 6 a.m. Jan. 10.
  • Change was reported taken from a car on the 21300 block of Cameron Hunt Place in Ashburn Village was entered between 5 p.m. Jan. 6 and 6:05 a.m. Jan. 7.

Tampering

  • A resident reported that a car on the 20500 block of Crescent Pointe Place in Potomac Green was entered between 10:30 p.m. Jan. 6 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 7. Nothing was reported taken.
  • A resident reported that a car on the 40400 block of Milford Drive in Broadlands was entered between 9 p.m. Jan. 6 and 6 a.m. Jan. 7. Nothing was reported taken.
  • A resident reported that a car on the 21800 block of Westdale Court in Broadlands was entered between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. Jan. 7. Nothing was reported taken.
  • A resident reported that a car on the 21800 block of Larchmont Way in Broadlands was entered between 8 p.m. Jan. 6 and 8:26 a.m. Jan. 7. Nothing was reported taken.
  • A resident reported that a car on the 21800 block of Cameron Hunt Place in Ashburn Village was entered between 8 p.m. Jan. 6 and 8:36 a.m. Jan. 7. Nothing was reported taken.
  • A resident reported seeing two juveniles enter a vehicle near Highcroft Terrace and New Dawn Terrace in Brambleton around 6:15 p.m. Jan. 6. The juveniles saw the resident and fled. Nothing was reported taken from the vehicle.
  • A resident reported that a vehicle on the 43200 block of Katie Leigh Court in Alexadras Grove at Belmont was entered around 3:40 a.m. Jan. 5. Nothing was reported taken.
