Ashburn Crime Report: Robbery, Suspicious People, Car Theft

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office also reported he recovery of a dump truck stolen in Fairfax.

Two Men Sought After Robbery on Cyprus Road
Loudoun County Sheriff’s investigators are searching for two suspects involved in a robbery around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 30. Three adult males walking a short distance from each other reported that as they walked along the 100 block of N. Cyprus Road an unknown Hispanic male approached one of them and flashed a gun. When the victim ran into a nearby residence, a Hispanic male approached a second victim, flashed a gun and took some jewelry before the two began to struggle. Several rounds were fired, but no one was injured, and the suspects fled in a black pickup truck. Anyone with information about the incident, the suspects or the suspect vehicle is asked to contact Investigator C. Cunningham of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. Anyone who provides information leading to an arrest and indictment could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Man with No ID Held after Report of Damaged Lights
Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies charged a 21-year-old man with “hindering/obstruction of justice” after a resident on the 20200 block of River Ridge Terrace reported a person damaging light fixtures in the breezeway of an apartment building shortly after 7 p.m. Oct. 26. Once deputies located the suspect, he deliberately misled them about his knowledge of the incident, according to a report on the incident. The man had not been indentified at the time of this report.

Suspicious Many Follows Teen from School Bus
An unknown man followed a 16-year-old female after she exited a school bus on the 700 block of E. Staunton Avenue around 4:12 p.m. Oct. 28, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. She described the man as a 5-foot-8-inch Hispanic man wearing a gray winter coat and blue jeans. He made no contact with the teen. Deputies were unable to locate a suspect matching the description, and a directed patrol has been assigned to the area.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered on Old Ox Road
A Ford dump truck reported stolen out of Fairfax County was located on the 45100 block of Old Ox Road at 7:52 p.m. Oct. 29.

Lexus Taken from Cardston Place
An unknown person, or persons, removed a 2008 Lexus ES 250 that was parked in a driveway on the 43200 block of Cardston Place at 5:34 a.m. Nov. 2.
