Ashburn, Eastern Loudoun Crime Update

The weekly roundup of illegal activity reported by the Sheriff's Office.

Eastern Loudoun Station

  • Destruction of Property: A window to the Taco Bell/KFC Restaurant on the 45900 block of Denizen Plaza was reported damaged at 9:14 p.m. April 11.
  • Burglary:  Two laptops were reported taken from Driveway Impressions on the 22000 block of Shaw Road at 6:01 a.m. April 13.
  • Suspicious Event: Deputies responded to a residence for a report of a possible prowler on the 46900 block of Mossgrove Court at 9:42 p.m. on April 13. The resident reported seeing an unknown subject outside of their home and two unknown vehicles parked out front of their home. Deputies were able to locate the vehicles nearby. The occupants told deputies they went to the wrong home. One of the subjects was issued a trespass form from the victim’s address.
  • Destruction of Property: The window to a business was reported damaged on the 100 block of Oakgrove Road on Apr. 10. It does not appear that entry was made and nothing was reported missing.
  • Larceny: A wallet was reported taken from a locker on the 46100 block of Loudoun Park Lane between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Apr. 16. The victim noticed the wallet, which included credit cards and cash, was missing on April 17.
  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from a vehicle on the 22000 block of Manning Square between 6:15 p.m. April 18 and 6 a.m. April 19. 

University Station

  • Suspicious Event: A resident discovered their vehicle had been rummaged through on the 43200 block of Clearnight Terrace at 3:15 p.m. April 13. Nothing was reported taken.
  • Larceny: A forest green MDX bicycle was reported taken from an open garage on the 21700 block of Ryan Park Terrace between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. April 17.
  • Destruction of Property: Two mailboxes were reported damaged on the 43300 block of La Belle Place at 9:38 a.m. April 18.
  • Tampering with Vehicle: A resident discovered unknown subjects rummaging through their vehicle on the 43100 block of Gatwick Square at 6:02 p.m. April 13. Nothing was reported missing.
  • Larceny: MP3 speakers and an MP3 player were reported taken from a vehicle on the 43100 block of Gatwick Square at 9:42 a.m. April 14.
  • Destruction of Property: A tire of a vehicle was reported damaged on the 20800 block of Isherwood Terrace at 5:50 p.m. April 19.
  • Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from a vehicle on the 43500 block of Lucketts Bridge Circle. A second vehicle was discovered entered on the 22600 block of Leithtown Mill Court. A driver’s side window was damaged to gain entry and cash, credit cards and a GPS unit were taken. On the 43400 block of Wheatlands Chase Court, a resident reported a passenger side window was damaged to gain entry. Credit cards and checkbooks were removed. On the 22700 block of Oatlands Grove Place, subjects entered an open garage and removed two children’s bicycles. A vehicle at the residence was entered and rummaged through but nothing was taken. The bicycles were later found abandoned on Howardsville Woods Court.  All of these events occured between 10 p.m. Apr. 18 and 7 a.m. Apr. 19.
  • Larceny: Credit cards were reported taken from a vehicle on the 22600 block of Taylorstown Hunt Court between midnight and 9:32 a.m. April 19. A second vehicle was entered. The passenger side window was reported damaged on that vehicle.

  • Larceny: Eight tee markers were reported taken from the South Riding Golf Club on the 43200 block of Golf View Drive at 1 p.m. April 18.
  • Destruction of Property: A mailbox was defaced on the 25000 block of Gazelle Court on April 17.
  • Larceny: A/C copper tubing was reported missing from four houses under construction on the 25600 block of America Square between 8:00 p.m. March 1 and 6 a.m. April 14.
  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from a vehicle on the 24900 block of Ashgarten Drive between 6:30 p.m. April 13 and 7 a.m. April 14.
  • Tampering with a Vehicle: Two vehicles were damaged in an attempt to gain entry on the 25300 block of Pleasant Valley Road between noon April 4 and noon April 14.
  • Tampering with a Vehicle: A lock was reported damaged on the 25400 block of Pleasant Valley Road between 4 p.m. April 13 and 2 p.m. April 14.
