Ashburn, Eastern Loudoun Crime Update

The weekly roundup of illegal activity reported by the Sheriff's Office.

Eastern Loudoun Station

  • Burglary: Money and a firearm were reported taken from a business on the 45700 block of Elmwood Court between 4 p.m. Feb. 25 and 8 a.m. Feb. 28.
  • Destruction of Property: A GPS unit was damaged inside an unlocked vehicle on the 21800 block of Elkins Terrace between 10 p.m. Feb. 27 and 10 a.m. Feb. 28. Dirt was also put into the fuel tank.
  • Larceny: A cell phone was removed from an unlocked locker on the 44600 block of Prentice Drive between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 28.
  • Auto Theft: An unlocked 2011 Nissan was reported taken from the 47200 block of Middle Bluff Place at 4:39 a.m. Mar. 1. The vehicle was later recovered in Fairfax County.
  • Larceny: A cell phone and wallet were reported taken from an unlocked locker on the 21000 block of the Dulles Town Center between 6 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. Feb. 28.
  • Destruction of Property: The driver’s seat of an unlocked vehicle was reported damaged on the 47300 block of Middle Bluff Place between 12:01 a.m. Feb. 20 and 1:30 p.m. Mar. 1.
  • Larceny: Clothing and a digital camera were reported taken from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Margate Court between 8 p.m. Mar. 1 and 7 a.m. Mar. 2. The vehicle’s window was damaged.
  • Larceny: A purse and digital camera were reported taken from a vehicle on the 22800 block of Oakgrove Road between 9:30 p.m. Mar. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Mar. 2. The vehicle’s window was damaged.
  • Larceny: A DVD player was reported taken from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Margate Court between 11:30 a.m. Mar. 1 and 9 a.m. Mar. 2. The vehicle’s window was damaged.
  • Larceny: Clothing and money were reported taken from a vehicle on the 1200 block of Chase Heritage Circle between 10 a.m. Mar. 1 and 4 a.m. Mar. 2. The vehicle’s window was damaged.
  • Robbery: While getting out of his vehicle on the 46700 block of Graham Cove Square at 10:35 p.m. Mar. 4, a victim was confronted by two unknown males. One of the males had a handgun. The suspects removed the victim’s wallet and cell phone.
  • Destruction of Property: Two vehicles on the 200 block of Coventry Square reported having tires slashed and paint scratched between 10 a.m. Mar. 4 and 6 a.m. Mar. 5.
  • Tampering with Vehicle: Ketchup and mustard were reported applied to a vehicle on the 100 block of South Dickenson at 1 a.m. Mar. 5.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle’s mirror was reported damaged on the 100 block of Connemara Drive between 10 a.m. Mar. 6 and 9 a.m. Mar. 7.
  • Robbery: Two unknown subjects confronted a victim with a baseball bat on the 22000 block of Shaw Road between 10:28 p.m. and 10:31 p.m. Mar. 7. One subject then produced a handgun and robbed the victim. Money was reported taken. The victim had no injuries.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle’s window and taillight were reported damaged on the 47600 block of Saulty Drive between 9:45 p.m. Mar. 7 and 8:22 a.m. Mar. 8.
  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 21800 block of Towncenter Plaza between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Mar. 7.

Central Loudoun Station

  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21800 block of Hyde Park Drive between 2:15 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Mar. 1. The vehicle’s window was damaged.
  • Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21800 block of Hyde Park Drive between 2:15 a.m. and 8 a.m. Mar. 1. The vehicle’s window was damaged.
  • Larceny: Items were reported taken from a construction site between 4:40 p.m. Feb. 28 and 7 a.m. Mar. 1.
  • Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 43500 block of Blacksmith Square at 12:03 p.m. Feb. 27.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle was egged on the 43100 block of Ribboncrest Terrace between 10 p.m. Mar. 4 and 9 a.m. Mar. 5.
  • Larceny: Two tires were removed from a vehicle on the 20100 block of Braeton Bay Terrace between 11 p.m. Mar. 5 and 4:30 a.m. Mar. 6. The vehicle was held off the ground with a rock.

  • Burglary: An unknown subject entered a residence on the 22600 block of Hillside Circle between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Feb. 28. Nothing known at the time was removed.
  • Larceny: Lumber and wiring were reported taken from a residence under construction on the 42600 block of Windflower Drive at midnight Mar. 1.
  • Larceny: Money was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 22900 block of Carters Farm Lane between 8 a.m. and 3:52 p.m. Feb. 27.
  • Larceny: Vinyl siding was reported taken from a construction site on the 25500 block of Taylor Crescent Drive between 5 p.m. Mar. 1 and 7 a.m. Mar. 2.
  • Larceny: Construction materials were reported taken from a construction site at the intersection of Gum Springs Road and Myers Glen Place between 5 p.m. Feb. 28 and 7 a.m. Mar. 2.
  • Larceny: Vinyl siding was reported taken from a construction site on the 43000 block of Tippman Place between 6:30 p.m. Mar. 1 and 7 a.m. Mar. 2.
  • Destruction of Property: Various tools, a camera and a GPS unit were reported taken from a vehicle on the 22400 block of Orchard Grass Terrace between midnight Mar. 4 and midnight Mar. 5.
  • Destruction of Property: A mailbox was reported damaged on the 25500 block of Little Krepps Court between 4 p.m. Mar. 5 and 4:30 p.m. Mar. 6.
  • Larceny: Concrete forms were reported taken from a construction site on the 22000 block of Falling Terrace between 5 p.m. Mar. 4 and 6 a.m. Mar. 7. The forms were valued at $4000.
  • Larceny: Copper was reported taken from a residence under construction on the 43500 block of Taylor Tree Terrace between 5 p.m. Mar. 4 and 8 a.m. Mar. 7.
