Ashburn, Eastern Loudoun Crime Update

The weekly roundup of illegal activity reported by the Sheriff's Office.

Eastern Loudoun Station

  • Destruction of Property: A fence was damaged with non-gang-related graffiti on the 47400 block of Halcyon Place at 7:55 p.m. Mar. 9.
  • Attempted Burglary: Unknown subjects entered an unlocked garage on the 21400 block of Magnolia Square between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mar. 10. A lock was damaged in an attempt to gain access to the residence.
  • Burglary: While owners were on vacation, a subject entered their residence and stayed there on the 500 block of Kentland Road. This was reported at 4:51 p.m. Mar. 10. After receiving a tip, deputies responded to the residence and found one juvenile inside.
  • Larceny: A catalytic converter was removed from a parked vehicle on the 44600 block of Moran Road between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Mar. 10.
  • Destruction of Property: Apparent gang-related graffiti was applied to road signs in the area of Pacific Boulevard and Relocation Drive between 8:25 a.m. Mar. 9 and 8:25 a.m. Mar. 10.
  • Destruction of Property: A fence was damaged with non-gang-related graffiti on the 1700 block of Argonne Avenue between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Mar. 10.
  • Larceny: A parking pass was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 140 block of Cottage Avenue at 11:20 a.m. Mar. 10.
  • Destruction of Property: Three vehicles were damaged on the 40 block of Wedgedale Drive between 7:05 a.m. Mar. 10 and 7:05 a.m. Mar. 11.
  • Larceny: Four batteries were reported taken from a vehicle on 47000 block of Harry Byrd Highway between 5 p.m. Mar. 10 and 8 a.m. Mar. 11.
  • Larceny: Two mailboxes were damaged by what appeared to be a blunt object on the 11300 block of Stonehouse Place between 10:30 p.m. Mar. 10 and midnight Mar. 11.
  • Vehicle Trespass: Unknown subjects entered a vehicle on the 21700 block of Willesden Junction Terrace between 9:30 p.m. Mar. 10 and 11 a.m. Mar. 12. Nothing was removed.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle was damaged by removing the weather strip on the 46500 block of Drysdale Terrace between 9:30 p.m. Mar. 11 and 8 a.m. Mar. 12.
  • Larceny: A flashlight was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 22000 block of Manning Square between 1 p.m. Mar. 14 and 8:30 a.m. Mar. 15.
  • Larceny: A gym bag was reported taken from a locker room on the 21000 block of Dulles Town Circle between 8 p.m. and 10:12 p.m. Mar. 15.

  • Larceny: A wallet was reported taken from an unattended purse on the 44000 block of Ashburn Shopping Plaza between 8:30 p.m. Mar. 11 and 2:18 a.m. Mar. 12.
  • Destruction of Property: Two windows on a vehicle were reported damaged on the 21300 block of Cameron Hunt Place between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. Mar. 13.
  • Attempted Burglary: Two locks were reported damaged on a residence on the 20900 block of Killawog Terrace between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Mar. 13.
  • Larceny: Money was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 43400 block of Squirrel Ridge Place between 5 p.m. Mar. 11 and 11:59 p.m. Mar. 13.
  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from an unlocked locker on the 21100 block of Ashby Ponds Boulevard between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Mar. 13.
  • Larceny: A GPS and iPod were reported taken from a vehicle on the 21300 block of Hornbeam Place between 7 p.m. Mar. 14 and 7 a.m. Mar. 15.

  • Larceny: A bar was removed from a patio area on the 24000 block of Crooked Oak Court on Jan. 11.
  • Destruction of Property: Soccer field nets were reported damaged on the 43400 block of Hyland Hills Street at 7:10 p.m. Mar. 8.
  • Larceny: A taxi sign was reported taken from the roof of a vehicle on the 42400 block of Magellan Square between 10 p.m. Mar. 14 and 7 a.m. Mar. 15.
