Ashburn, Eastern Loudoun Crime Update

The weekly roundup of illegal activity reported by the Sheriff's Office.

Eastern Loudoun Station

  • Larceny: Two batteries and a piece of equipment were reported taken from a vehicle on the 47000 block of Harry Byrd Highway at 10:49 a.m. March 16.
  • Destruction of Property: Signs were damaged with graffiti on the corner of Relocation Drive and Pacific Boulevard at 7:52 p.m. March 19.
  • Attempted Robbery: An armed subject wearing a mask approached a man walking home on the corner of Sanderson Drive and Sugarland Run at 10:20 a.m. March 20 and attempted to rob the man.
  • Auto Theft: A blue Dodge Caravan was reported taken from a parking lot on the 600 block of Brethour Circle between 6:30 p.m. March 21 and 4 a.m. March 22.
  • Theft: Tires and rims were reported taken from 11 vehicles in a parking lot on the 46900 block of Harry Byrd Highway between 7:10 p.m. March 21 and 6:25 a.m. March 22.
  • Larceny: Mail was reported taken from a mailbox on the 800 block of Watford Street North at 9:23 a.m. March 21.
  • Auto Theft: A motorcycle was reported taken on the 21100 block of Twinridge Square between 6 a.m. March 21 and 7 p.m. March 22.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle was damaged with scratches to its paint on the 20800 block of Wallingford Square between 7:30 p.m. March 21 and 5:30 p.m. March 22.

  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle was damaged with scratches to its paint on the 43300 block of Junction Plaza at 8:30 p.m. March 10.
  • Destruction of Property: A storm door was reported damaged on the 43600 block of Winthrop Court between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. March 16.
  • Larceny: HVAC equipment was reported taken from a construction site on the 43000 block of Barnstead Drive between 5 p.m. March 11 and 7 a.m. March 14.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle’s window was reported damaged on the 21000 block of Arrowhead Court between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 19.
  • Larceny: A skateboard was reported taken from a driveway on the 21400 block of Chicocoan Drive at 9:10 p.m. March 19.
  • Destruction of Property: A window was damaged at a residence on the 21400 block of Plymouth Place at 1:46 p.m. March 20.

  • Larceny: A streaming media player was reported taken from a porch on the 42700 block of Kearney Terrace at 11:55 a.m. March 18.
  • Larceny: HVAC equipment was reported taken from a residence under construction on the 23100 block of Dunlop Heights Terrace between 9 p.m. March 17 and 7 a.m. March 18.
  • Larceny: A mailbox was reported damaged on the 39500 block of Buchannan Gap Road between 2:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. March 19.
  • Larceny: Two laptops were reported taken from a construction trailer on the corner of Beaver Dam Drive and Colonial Hills at 9:14 a.m. March 19.
  • Destruction of Property: Playground equipment was reported damaged with graffiti on the 42400 block of Greenside Drive between midnight and 10:30 a.m. March 19.
  • Larceny: While on patrol around Morning Walk Drive and Winter Haven Drive, a deputy noticed a vehicle leaving the area with construction materials between 10:05 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. March 19. The driver was identified as Moises Ernesto Paz-Salguero, 28. Paz-Selguero was arrested and charged with grand larceny.
  • Attempted Burglary: The lock to a residence on the 42700 block of Longworth Terrace was reported damaged between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 19. Entry into the residence was unsuccessful.
  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 22900 block of Lois Lane between 5 p.m. March 19 and 3 p.m. March 20.
