Ashburn Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

The investigation on the Broadlands resident indicates activities dating back to 1980.

After an investigation involving federal and local authorities, Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an Ashburn man Oct. 27 and charged him with nine counts of possession of child pornography. Jeffrey Brian Lee, 49, was arrested as result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Sex Crimes Unit, the FBI and the CIA.

Investigators searched Lee’s home on the 21600 block of Stillbrook Farm Drive in Broadlands on Sept. 27.

According to an affidavit in support of the search warrant submitted by Loudoun Sheriff’s Investigator Kristina M. Leigh, agents from the FBI and CIA first contacted her about the case. While the charges filed relate to child pornography, the affidavit indicates that investigators believe other crimes may have occurred; however, no other charges have been filed at this time.
