Ashburn Man Arrested in Maryland Murder Investigation

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office worked with Prince George's County Police; suspect apprehended without incident.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office announced today that deputies worked with members of the Prince George’s County, Md. Police Department to arrest an Ashburn man wanted for a first-degree murder charge in Maryland.

Prince George’s detectives contacted the Loudoun County Gang Intelligence Unit March 28 about a suspect wanted for a 2009 murder in Prince George’s. On March 29, members of the Loudoun gang unit and the PG police conducted surveillance on the suspect’s home on the 44000 block of Florence Terrace in Ashburn.

After several hours, officers arrested Carl Lester Glen, 22, without incident after he exited the home, according to a report from the LCSO.

Glen remains at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a fugitive warrant, awaiting extradition to Maryland.
