Baby Dies After Fall from Hotel Balcony

An infant girl has died after falling five floors from a hotel balcony in Savannah, Ga., according to reports, including The Associated Press.
Nine-month-old Sahana Shah was visiting Savannah with her family, of Ashburn, for the Memorial Day weekend.

A police spokesperson told Savannah's WTOC that the baby girl was being held by her mother on the balcony at around 8 p.m. Friday night when the baby slipped from her grip and fell.

Sahana died from her injuries on Sunday. Associated Press notes no charges have been filed.
