Bathroom Assaults Suspect Arrested, Faces Additional Charges in Sterling Cases

A new incident in a Sterling grocery store led to the arrest, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A suspect has been apprehended in the assault of four Sterling-area women, including two assault incidents in a Dulles Town Center bathroom.

Meredith S. Wyatt, 23, is charged with five counts of simple assault.

The latest incident June 2 involved a woman shopping at a grocery store in the 22300 block of S. Sterling Boulevard. A man who police have identified as Wyatt approached the victim and began talking to her. As she walked away, he allegedly touched her inappropriately from behind.

The woman reportedly confronted him and, when she turned to walk away a second time, Wyatt allegedly touched her inappropriately again, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Wyatt was later identified and arrested on two counts of simple assault in that incident.

Police say they were then able to connect him to the bathroom incidents at Dulles Town Center. A 62-year-old woman was touched inappropriately underneath a stall May 14. On May 30, a teen girl reported that a man grabbed at her from underneath a bathroom stall.

Wyatt is also accused in a May 25 incident where a woman, 57, was grabbed from behind as she was walking in the 200 block of W. Holly Avenue.
