Crime Map: Several Items Stolen From Cars April 14-15

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office handling several complaints in Sterling area.

Sterling residents woke up Tuesday morning to find that there cars had been riffled through, with several items stolen, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The thefts included two cars rifled through on Darian Court, with a GPS unit stolen from one car and a satellite radio unit and a cell phone charger from the other car.

On Peyton Road, there were three additional thefts, with a smartphone stolen from one car, an iPod and wallet removed from a second car and a small amount of cash stolen from the third.

Also, a moped was stolen overnight from the 190 block of N. Cottage Rd. Sometime between April 11 and the morning of April 15, copper was stolen off the back of a work truck on Executive Drive.

And, Tuesday night, a tablet and case was stolen from a car in the 45500 block of Dulles Eastern Plaza, according to deputies.
