Robbery by Armed Men Reported at Dulles Hotel
A woman staying at a hotel on the 45100 block of Dulles Plaza reported that she was robbed of cash at gunpoint in her room between 10:55 p.m. and 11:10 p.m. Dec. 7, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The woman, 26, reported that a recent acquaintance arrived with two men she did not know. One of the men displayed a gun and cash was taken. Two of the men were described as black and a third was described as Hispanic.

Helicopter Can Track Reported Masked Men
After a security guard observed two masked individuals dressed in black attempting to remove copper wiring from a building under construction in Ashburn a search was conducted to no avail, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The guard reported seeing the suspects sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Dec. 2 on the 21500 block of Beaumeade Circle before they fled. A Fairfax County Police Department helicopter assisted in the search, but no one was located.

Suspicious Substance Delivered to Area Business Deemed Harmless
Emergency personnel responded to the mailroom of a business on the 22200 block of Pacific Boulevard at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 6 for a report of an unknown substance found in the delivered mail. Later, the substance was determined to be harmless.
Weather Keeps Officers Busy with Roadway Obstructions
Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies responded to more than 20 primarily weather-related roadway obstructions throughout the county from 5:21 p.m. Dec. 7 to 7:02 a.m. Dec. 8. The incidents included downed trees, downed wires and flooded roadways.
Suspicious Person Enters Vehicle as Own Unloads It
While unloading a vehicle on the 44300 block of Rock Cove, an Ashburn resident reported that an unknown person entered their vehicle around 5:50 p.m. Dec. 7, according to a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office report. When the victim returned to their car to retrieve more items, he or she observed an unknown subject entering the unlocked passenger side door. The suspect, described as a white male with blonde hair, left the area. Items appeared to have been moved within the vehicle, but nothing was reported missing.
