Crime Report: Man With Stab Wounds Declines to Press Charges

Injuries from South Riding field party and stolen bicycles highlight Dulles crime report.

A 25-year-old Manassas man showed up at Prince William Hospital with stab wounds July 17, but he declined to press charges. According to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, the victim told investigators that the wounds were inflicted by an unknown object while he attended a field party near South Riding around 3 a.m. that morning. The victim received several lacerations during the incident and was transferred from Prince William to Inova Loudoun Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim did not provide investigators with any additional information.

Other incidents reported from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Dulles South Station:

  • Destruction of Property: A victim was fishing in the area of Route 625 and Route 659 at 1:20 p.m. July 14 when he observed what he believed to be three juvenile males walking in the parking lot. The juveniles were throwing rocks. The victim later discovered the rear window of their vehicle was damaged.
  • Larceny: A bicycle was reported taken from a community pool on the 43400 block of Parish Street at 3:55 p.m. July 14. The bike had been left unsecured.
  • Larceny: A bicycle was reported taken from the front yard of a residence on the 25200 block of Justice Drive between noon July 10 and noon July 15.
  • Destruction of Property: Known subject damaged property into a residence on the 38300 block of Pistole Lane at 12:51 p.m. July 19. Victim declined to pursue charges.
  • Larceny: A bicycle was reported taken from front yard to a residence on the 25500 block of Upper Clubhouse Drive between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. July 21.
