Crime Report: Rachel Hill Drive Residents Reported Suspicious Van

Check out this week's update from the Loudoun Sheriff's Office South Station.

A suspicious white van approached a home on Rachel Hill Drive where two girls were standing outside May 18. A passenger from the van exited, but made no contact with the young girls before leaving the area. The girls reported the incident to their parents and deputies discovered multiple work vans fitting the description in the area.

  • Larceny: Miscellaneous coins were reported taken from a vehicle on the 24000 block of Whitten Farm Court between 7:00 p.m. May 16 and 7:00 a.m. May 17.
  • Destruction of Property: Two tires were reported damaged on a vehicle on the 25100 block of Pennywort Terrace between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. May 19.
  • Destruction of Property: Windows and doors were reported damaged to a home under construction on the 23900 block of Whitten Farm Court at 6:55 a.m. May 17.
  • Larceny: A purse was reported taken from a vehicle on the 26000 block of Springdale Drive between 2:00 p.m. May 20 and 9:00 a.m. May 21.
  • Auto Theft: A 2008 Toyota Camry was reported taken on the 42000 block of Pyrite Court at 11:00 p.m. May 21.
  • Unlawful Entry: Deputies responded to the area of Aldie Springs Drive and Lenah Trails Place where it was reported several subjects entered a home under construction. Two subjects were located and charged with unlawful entry.
