Crime Report: Armed Robbery, Student Drinking

Disheveled Man Seen Outside House
After hearing banging on a window at their house on the 44300 block of Apache Circle at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 29, a resident saw an unknown male outside their house. The man had a thin build, wearing a dark colored jacket. He was further described as being disheveled and possibly having a thin beard. The area was searched but no subject matching this description was located.  

Armed Robbery Reported at Dulles Fairfield Inn
An armed man and an accomplice walked into the Fairfield Inn and Suites on Indian Creek Drive in Dulles and demanded money from an employee around 2 a.m. Dec. 31, according to a report received by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

One suspect was described as a short, white male with a thin build and small tattoo near his left eye. He wore a blue jacket and jeans during the incident. Another suspect, described as a Hispanic male, wore all black clothing and a black hat during the incident.

Road Rage on Route 7
While driving westbound on Route 7 in the area of Route 28 at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 4, a driver said a blue Ford F-350 was tailgating he. At one point, the driver of the Ford F-350 threw something at the other vehicle but it did not strike it. The driver of the Ford F-350 was described as a white male with dark hair, wearing tan coveralls and a green reflective jacket.

Middle School Students Reported Drinking Alcohol at School
After a student at J. Michael Lunsford Middle School reported to the school clinic around 10 a.m. Jan. 5 because of sickness, it appeared that alcohol was the cause. A school resource officer from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and six students were found to be under the influence of alcohol. According to a report from the LCSO, the students consumed the alcohol at the school just before the school day started. The matter remains under investigation.

Other Items:

  • A resident of the 43700 block of Clemens Terrace reported a possible break-in around 5:45 p.m. Jan. 5. No clear signs of attempted forced entry were found.
  • After hearing an interior garage door close around 4:40 a.m. Jan. 6, a resident of the 21800 block of Hyde Park Drive reported that items appeared to be missing, including cash and a credit card.
