Deputies Seek Identity of Sexual Assault Suspect

A new sketch of a tattoo has been released in addition to the drawing of the man's face.

The suspect in a sexual assault incident outside Finnegan’s Irish Pub last month remains unknown, but the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office this week released additional information about the man, including details of a wrist tattoo.

Investigators are seeking anyone with information about the suspect.

The victim told authorities that as she walked across the Ashburn Village shopping center parking lot, near Finnegan’s, at about 2 a.m. March 18 she asked the driver of a black late 1990s model Jeep if she could use his cell phone. She voluntarily entered the Jeep, at which point the suspect drove off and refused repeated requests to stop and let her go. He then sexually assaulted the victim before releasing her.

The suspect is described as a fit, 5-foot-10 white male in his early 30s with blonde hair and a medium build.  He reportedly has a “flat” nose that is bent to his right.  He also has a large mole or freckle on his neck. His teeth were described as having gaps in them. He wore a gray hoodie-style sweatshirt with several knots in the string on the evening of the incident. In addition, the suspect has a tattoo on his wrist.

Anyone with information about the subject is asked to call Investigator K. Leigh at 703-777-0475.
