Radio Adjustment Blamed for Dulles 28 Centre Accident

UPDATE June 29 2:20 p.m.

 A driver of 2005 Honda Civic that turned on its side at Dulles 28 Centre June 28 received a traffic citation for reckless driving.

According to a police report, the driver was leaving the parking lot and attempted to adjust their radio. As a result, the driver rode onto a curb and then onto a fence, causing it to roll onto the driver’s side. Members of the Sterling Fire and Rescue Department extricated the driver, who was taken to Inova Loudoun Hospital in Lansdowne with minor injuries.

A driver struck a guardrail and rolled on its side around 12:06 p.m. June 28 on the 45100 block of Columbia Plaza at Dulles 28 Centre. The driver was taken to Inova Loudoun Hospital in Lansdowne with non-life-threatening injuries. A citation was issued, but the code violation was not immediately available.
