eHarmony Connection Ends in Arrest

When a 37-year-old Loudoun County woman agreed to meet John Swann Evans, 34, after the two met on eHarmony, she found herself trapped as the man prevented her from leaving and sexually assaulted her, according the Loudoun Sheriff's Office.

Investigators have charged Evans with abduction with the intent to defile and forcible sodomy. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Investigators also believe there may be more victims who have not come forward. The sheriff's department seeks information from anyone who may be a victim or know one. Anyone with information may call Investigator Bobbie Ochsman at 703-777-0475.
