Electric Shock, Malicious Wounding Charge Among Latest Incidents

Man Charged with Malicious Wounding

Deputies reporting to the 600 block of North Fillmore Avenue for an reported assault on the evening of May 28 found one person outside the home with lacerations to their arm and another inside also suffering from a cut. Deputies charged Alejandro Tolledo-Gomez, 27, of Sterling, with malicious wounding. Tolledo-Gomez and Marvin J. Castillo, 26, of Sterling, both received drunk in public charges and are being held ICE detainers.

Electric Shock on Pacific Boulevard

Emergency personnel reported to the scene of an electric shock near Ashburn early Wednesday, May 25. An electrical laborer was working on a light along Pacific Boulevard south of Waxpool Road when the shock occurred around 6:46 a.m., according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Emergency workers airlifted the man to Washington Hospital Center.

  • Destruction of Property: The tires of five vehicles were reported damaged at the Calvary Temple Church on the 50200 block of Tripleseven Road between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. May 24. Several playground toys and picnic tables were thrown into a pond on the property.
  • Destruction of Property: The side of a vehicle was spray painted on the 300 block of West Juniper Avenue between 8 a.m. May 20 and 7 p.m. May 23. The incident was possibly related to series of vandalism incidents that occurred over the weekend.
  • Destruction of Property: A resident observed an unknown subject attempting to gain entry into a neighbor’s vehicle on the 100 block of Richland Circle at 12:30 a.m. May 24. The resident contacted the neighbor. The vehicle was damaged but no entry was made and nothing was reported missing.
  • Destruction of Property: Tires of two vehicles were reported damaged on the 120 block of Victoria Place between 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. May 25.
  • Destruction of Property: A cable to a house was reported damaged and the exterior was spray painted on the 47600 block of Loweland Terrace between 11:45 p.m. May 24 and 7:45 a.m. May 25.
  • Assault: A resident working in their backyard observed a person discharging BB’s at their house on the 120 block of Hamilton Court at 4:40 p.m. May 25. The resident was also struck by some of the BB’s. A subject was located and identified but the complainant declined to pursue charges.
  • Auto Theft: A black and gray 1995 Jeep Cherokee was reported taken from a parking spot on the corner of Frederick Drive and Leatherleaf Drive between 5 p.m. May 24 and 5 p.m. May 25.
  • Suspicious Event: A 22-year-old female was walking in the area of North Cottage Drive and Monarch Drive at 9 p.m. May 25 when she noticed a blue Ford Escape driving behind her. The driver parked the vehicle and excited. He then began to follow her and asked the female several questions. The victim walked up to a group of people and the subject left the area. The subject was described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet-5-inches tall, with a thin build. He was also described as having gold around some of his teeth.
  • Destruction of Property: An unknown subject(s) spray-painted symbols often associated with Satanism on the 90 block of Seneca Ridge Drive at 7:55 a.m. May 26. The symbols were painted in pink on the roadway, the sidewalk, a utility box, street signs and the sign for Seneca Ridge Middle School. The graffiti appears to be juvenile in nature. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s School Resource Officer Unit is investigating the incident.
  • Weapons Violation: Deputies responded to Tommy’s Place II restaurant on the 150 block of Enterprise Street at 6:46 p.m. May 26 for a report of a subject who displayed a knife. It was reported the subject was asked to stop smoking a cigar in the bar. He then pulled up his shirt and displayed a knife in his waistband. The 19-year-old suspect from Manassas was issued a summons for possession of a concealed weapon. The knife was seized.
  • Larceny: A child’s bicycle was reported taken from the backyard of a residence on the 160 block of Sulgrave Court between 8 p.m. May 25 and noon May 26.
  • Destruction of Property: A portion of a cross was reported damaged at the Calvary Temple Church on the 50100 block of Triple Seven Road between 2 p.m. May 25 and 12:30 p.m. May 26.
  • Larceny: A resident reported that an unknown male subject attempted to enter their home and removed cigarettes from the front porch on the 120 block of Avondale Drive between 12:30 p.m. and 12:33 p.m. May 27. Deputies responded and located a subject matching the description given by the homeowner. The subject, identified as John O. Silverstein, 20, of Wisconsin was charged with petit larceny, unlawful entry and soliciting without a license.
  • Suspicious Event: A child was walking home when he observed an unknown blue minivan occupied by a white male and a white female on the 20600 block of Settlers Point Road at 3 p.m. May 27. The female asked if he was ok and if he knew how to get home. The child ran home and notified his parents.
  • Larceny: A MP3 player was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21000 block of Stanford Square between 8 p.m. May 26 and 4:15 p.m. May 27. The rear passenger-side window was damaged.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle was reported spray-painted on the 1100 block of Albermarle Road between 6 p.m. May 27 and 10 a.m. May 28. The event is possibly related to series of destruction of property incidents in May.
  • Destruction of Property: Two vehicles were reported spray-painted on the 45300 block of Saynamkhan Court between 11 p.m. May 27 and 9 a.m. May 28. The event is possibly related to series of destruction of property incidents in May.
  • Destruction of Property: A tree house was reported spray-painted on the 20000 block of Great Falls Forest Drive between 12:01 a.m. May 26 and 11:59 p.m. May 27.
  • Destruction of Property: A vehicle on the 700 block of East Maple Avenue was reported ‘keyed’ between 9:30 p.m. May 28 and 8 a.m. May 29.
  • Assault: Deputies responded to a residence for a report of an assault on the 600 block of North Fillmore Avenue between 7 p.m. and 8:01 p.m. May 28. A subject was located outside of the residence suffering from a laceration to their arm. A second subject was located inside the home and was also suffering from a laceration. Alejandro Tolledo-Gomez, 27, of Sterling was charged with malicious wounding and drunk in public. He is being held on an ICE detainer. Marvin J. Castillo, 26, of Sterling was charged with drunk in public. He remains held on an ICE detainer. The incident appears to be domestic in nature.
  • Larceny: A bicycle was reported taken from outside a convenience store on the 45600 block of West Church Road at 7 p.m. May 29.
  • Assault: A verbal altercation at a community pool on the 200 block of Greenfield Court at 7:11 p.m. May 30 resulted in a suspect assaulting two lifeguards. The case is pending.
