Fire in Ashburn Apartment Displaces Three

An apartment fire at Timber Ridge Terrace displaced three residents and caused $70,000 in damage Saturday afternoon.

An apartment fire in Ashburn displaced three individuals Saturday afternoon.

The fire happened around 5 p.m. at second-floor residence located at 20965 Timber Ridge Terrace. Response units from Ashburn, Moorefield, Sterling, Lansdowne, Leesburg and Brambleton responded to the fire, which was quickly located and extinguished, according to officials.

Smoke and water damage was limited to the second-floor apartment and the residence below. The Loudoun County Fire Marshall's office is investigating the cause of the fire, which caused an estimated $70,000 in damage. No civilians or firefighters were injured.
