Home Invasion Robbery by Four Masked Men

Sterling incident possibly drug-related, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators are seeking the public's help in solving a home invasion robbery in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

At a home in the 46800 block of Ironstone Terrace, a homeowner answered the door at around 9 p.m. Wednesday. Four men forced their way into the home. The unknown robbers were wearing bandanas to obscure their faces. 

One of the suspects was carrying a firearm, according to the Sheriff's Office. The robbers demanded money and valuables and began ransacking the house.

"At this time in the investigation it appears the robbery was targeted and is possibly drug-related," according to the Sheriff's Office release. "There is no indication there is any threat to the community."
