ID of Third Suspect in Sterling Home Invasion Released

Sheriff seeks information about man believed to have left the area with girlfriend, son.

A third man believed to have been involved in what the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is calling a botched home invasion has been identified and is considered armed and dangerous, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.

The incident resulted in the death of one suspect in the invasion, Anthony D. Miles, while another is recovering from gunshot wounds. The third man, identified as Samuel Thomas Eaton, 27, is believed to have driven the injured suspect to the hospital.

Authorities have charged Eaton with robbery, burglary and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Eaton may be on route to North Carolina, possibly driving a dark gray 2004 Hyundai four-door with Virginia tags, XFH-2671. Investigators believe Rebecca Hook, 27, is with him, along with their 6-year-old son. Eaton should be considered armed and dangerous.
