Police were alerted Tuesday to an indecent exposure incident that occurred near Ivymount Terrace and Glenelder Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The 16 and 15-year-old female victims told police they were walking on a path Monday when they were passed by an unknown male.

Minutes later, the male returned to the area and exposed himself. The suspect had no verbal or physical contact with the teenagers and the victims immediately fled the scene.

The victims describe the man as a white male in his 30s wearing a white T-shirt and tan shorts.

I think we would all like to know WHY residents were not notified by LCSO, or Ashburn Farm HOA. Apparently LCSO didn't notify the school either, leaving "walkers" vulnerable. Terrible communication and I think the buck stops at LCSO.
