LCSO Investigates Alleged Assault in Sterling

Hispanic suspect sought in Aug. 13 incident on N. Fillmore Avenue.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged assault and attempted abduction that occurred Aug. 13 in the Sterling area and was reported Aug. 15.

A 39-year-old woman told investigators that as she exited her vehicle on the 120 block of N. Fillmore Avenue around 12:40 a.m. Aug. 13 an unknown man approached her. The man spoke briefly with the victim before allegedly grabbing her and forcing her into the backseat of her car, where he held her down. The victim screamed and the suspect fled in a sky blue older model car.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-9 Hispanic male with a medium build, wearing a black shirt and black pants.
