LCSO Launches New Website

Sheriff Chapman calls change attempt to deliver better service to Loudoun residents.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that it has launched a new website aimed at improving outreach and communication.

The website, sheriff.loudoun.gov, enables residents to report certain crimes online, including larceny from vehicles, identity theft and vandalism. The online reporting system is not intended for emergency cases or if a crime is in progress or just occurred.

The website features a Community Resource Directory enabling to help residents find resources for health and human services, helps residents find the nearest LCSO station and provides maps of LCSO station service areas. Press releases and other information released from the sheriff’s office will also be uploaded to the site.
