LCSO Offers Hurricane Shelter at Some Stations
Loudoun County residents can go to sheriff's office locations if they lose power or have an emergency this week during the 'Frankenstorm.'
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is offering temporary shelters at some of its stations for anyone who has lost power or has an emergency as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
The following locations are open for shelter, according to an email Monday:
- Eastern Loudoun Station: 46620 East Frederick Drive, in Sterling
- Dulles South Public Safety Center (Dulles South Station): 25216 Loudoun County Parkway, Chantilly
- University Station: 45299 Research Place #100, Ashburn
Deputies are encouraging residents to visit the station locator to see which location is closest to their home.
