The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is offering temporary shelters at some of its stations for anyone who has lost power or has an emergency as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

The following locations are open for shelter, according to an email Monday:

  • Eastern Loudoun Station: 46620 East Frederick Drive, in Sterling
  • Dulles South Public Safety Center (Dulles South Station): 25216 Loudoun County Parkway, Chantilly
  • University Station: 45299 Research Place #100, Ashburn

Deputies are encouraging residents to visit the station locator to see which location is closest to their home.
