UPDATE: Missing Leesburg Teen Located, Safe in Ashburn

A resident spotted the girl at a coffee shop and contacted the sheriff's office.

UPDATE Monday, Aug. 15: The missing teen was spotted at a local coffee shop by a resident who had seen her picture on the LCSO Facebook page. The citizen called the Sheriff’s Office and deputies were able to take her into custody.

Authorities have asked anyone with information about an Ashburn teen missing since July 7 to come forward.

Jade Winstead, 17, was reported missing on July 7 from the area of Meadowview Court in Leesburg, VA. She has been seen recently in the Ashburn and Sterling area.

Winstead has brown eyes and and dyed her hair blonde. She stand about 5-foot-10 and weighs around 150 pounds. She has several tattoos on her body including the word “Jaded” on her left wrist and “Only the Strong Survive” on her left arm.
