The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has planned a public safety meeting for the University Station area June 28. The quarterly meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at Stone Bridge High School—is part of the agency’s work to engage the public, take advantage of existing resources and provide better service to residents.
The LCSO hosts quarterly meetings in each of the four service areas of the county. All residents, homeowners associations, community groups and town representatives are invited to attend.
Discussion items include recent crime and crime trends in the area, traffic safety concerns and other public safety issues. Local LCSO captains lead the meetings. Sheriff Mike Chapman and Lt. Col. Chris Harmison plan to attend the June 28 meeting.
Also in attendance will be supervisors from the Criminal Investigations Division, the Special Operations Division, Community Police Officers and Crime Prevention Deputies.
